FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas opens a three-game Southeastern Conference series Friday against South Carolina.
The Razorbacks (33-13, 11-10 SEC) have won four straight games, including a two-game midweek series from Missouri on Tuesday and Wednesday.
South Carolina (34-11, 14-7) has won 13 of their last 15 league games, including 11 consecutive conference contests. The Gamecocks posted a three-game sweep of Alabama, and beat Davidson 2-1 on Wednesday.
Arkansas leads the series between the teams 30-24, including a 15-7 record in games played in Fayetteville. The Gamecocks have won six of the past 10 meetings between the two teams.
