LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Lake Hamilton took down Class 6A's defending state champion and top team at El Dorado on Friday.
The win was enough to lift the Wolves to No. 4 overall and No. 1 in Class 6A in this week's Associated Press Arkansas high school football poll. Lake Hamilton's lone loss this season came against overall No. 2 Pulaski Academy. It held on for a 31-24 win against El Dorado, which fell to No. 5 overall and only one spot to No. 2 in Class 6A.
Bentonville continues to top the overall poll, followed by the Bruins; No. 3 Fayetteville; No. 6 Greenwood; No. 7 West Memphis; No. 8 North Little Rock; No. 9 Bryant and No. 10 Conway.
Prescott tops Class 3A, followed by Magazine in Class 2A.
