LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Marque Buris rushed for 126 yards and the game-winning touchdown to lift El Dorado to a 24-20 win over Lake Hamilton in the Class 6A championship game.

The title is the third straight for the Wildcats (13-1), whose only loss this season was a regular-season defeat to the Wolves (12-2).

Buris' 13-yard touchdown run came after El Dorado appeared stopped in its own territory. However, the Wildcats' punt hit Lake Hamilton returner Dalton Daniels and was recovered by El Dorado.

Buris scored four plays later to give the Wildcats the lead, and El Dorado secured the school's eighth championship.

Lucas Reed was 23 of 39 passing for 234 yards for the Wildcats. Wendell Thompson finished with nine catches for 95 yards.

Austin Essner led Lake Hamilton with 139 yards rushing.
