Central Arkansas survives 2 OTs for 107-96 win

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Eastern Illinois hit two last second shots to force overtimes, but Central Arkansas was able to pull away in the second overtime for a 107-96 on Saturday.

Central Arkansas improved to 2-3, while Eastern Illinois fell to 3-2.

In the second overtime, Central Arkansas went on a 9-0 run to put the contest away.

LaQuentin Miles scored 22 points and Terry Tidwell added 18. Three other Central Arkansas players scored in double figures.

Jeremy Granger ended regulation with a 3-pointer for Eastern Illinois to tie the score at 77. He finished with 27 points. Joey Miller hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer at the end of the first overtime period to tie the game at 89.
