LITTLE ROCK, AR - Hog fans with DirecTV missed the exciting end to the game at Cowboys Stadium.

FOX16 got this statement from DirecTV:

“The A&M v Arkansas was moved to 207 for customers in Arkansas and Texas markets. We are aware of the issue and we apologize.”

But the apology isn't sitting well with some FOX16 viewers. Not at all.

Chad posts on our Facebook page, “They may apologize but that doesn't fix the issue.”

Tracy has a little better news, “I just got a credit on the next bill after a nice visit with them.”

Some folks didn't have time to waste

James says he “ran and turned on the radio.“

And Bill asks, “All you had to do was switch to ESPN News and finish the game. What is there to gripe about?”

I smell a lot of phone calls requesting discounts on some bills

I'm on Dish too, and it happened to me. I watched the entire game until the last few seconds before the ending, and channel 140 which I was watching it on, abruptly went off the air, and stated that "You are not allowed to view this channel in your area". No mention of where else to go either, so I missed the last part of the exciting game. I did finally find where the game had been, after it had ended on another channel by switching the remote, but game was over and another game was in progress. Wife and I was very angry about the situation.

Sure glad we had AT&T U-verse or I'd have been really mad, too!

What I have to gripe about is that we had to DVR the game and didn't get to start watching it until about an hour after the game started. So by the time we got to that point in the recorded game, the live game was long over, so switching the channel or turning on the radio didn't matter. Our friends with Dish said it happened to them also.
