LITTLE ROCK, AR – The family of Michael Dyer tells Fox 16 Sports Director David Raath that rumors of him transferring to Arkansas State are false. The family says that Dyer has not filed any paperwork requesting to be transferred.

The Auburn Athletic Department also says they have not received any paperwork from Dyer.

Arkansas State named Auburn Offensive Coordinator Gus Malzahn as its Head Coach in December.

Dyer played his high school football at Little Rock Christian. He was named the 2009 Gatorade Player of the Year in Arkansas.

He was actually granted release papers from Auburn today. Ya'll should probably do a little more research before posting a story.
