FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson has earned every one of the school-record 176 passes he's thrown without an interception.
The junior has taken shot after shot from opposing defenses this season, from Alabama to Vanderbilt. Despite the hits, Wilson hasn't thrown an interception since the second quarter against the Crimson Tide on Sept. 24.
It's a streak Wilson hopes to add to when the No. 8 Razorbacks (7-1, 3-1 Southeastern Conference) host No. 10 South Carolina (7-1, 5-1) on Saturday.
In his first season as a starter, Wilson leads the SEC at 290.9 yards passing per game despite shaky pass protection. He missed the second half against New Mexico with concussion-like symptoms but remained on the field in last week's 31-28 win over Vanderbilt.
