I don't understand the part about "...crushing upstart Tulsa's hopes...". Story says they are 7-2; I'd say they have a pretty good shot at a bowl conidering teams with 6 wins get into them. On the other hand, slim doesn't exactly describe the Hogs chances at a bowl; unless you count the toilet bowl.

3 ranked teams left on the schedule. Doesn't look like a bowl game this year, not with 4, maybe 5 if they are lucky, wins.
