Miles leads Central Arkansas over Ecclesia 90-75

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — LaQuentin Miles racked up a double-double, scoring 24 points and pulling down 11 rebounds, to lead Central Arkansas past Ecclesia 90-75 on Tuesday night.

The Bears (1-3) took the lead early and never gave it up, going ahead by as many as 27 points midway through the second half.

Miles made 10 of 19 tries from the field and 4 of 7 from the free-throw line. Jarvis Garner added 15 points for Central Arkansas while Ryan Williams scored 11.

The Royals (3-6) did better from long distance, sinking 10 3-pointers to Central Arkansas' three. Brandon Brzozkiewicz came off the bench to account for half of the Royals' 3-pointers. He finished with 18 points.

Jason Holmstrom led Ecclesia with a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing a game-high 15 rebounds. David Eichler added 12 points for the Royals.
