FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Pine Bluff has answered every challenge this season except in a 47-10 loss to No. 2 North Little Rock in the third week of the season.
The No. 10 Zebras (6-1) face their most difficult opponent since on Friday night when they host three-time defending champion El Dorado.
Pine Bluff has won four straight since its loss, including a 40-9 win over defending state runner up Lake Hamilton two weeks ago. It's outscored opponents by an average of 38-14 in its wins.
The Wildcats, No. 4 in Class 6A, have won four of the last five meetings against Pine Bluff. They opened with losses to No. 5 Camden Fairview and No. 8 Fort Smith Southside, but they've won five straight since — including a 31-17 win over Lake Hamilton last week.
