Razorback WR Arrested

Arkansas WR Kane Whitehurst was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

FAYETTEVILLE, ARK - Arkansas Wide Receiver Kane Whitehurst is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after being arrested early Sunday morning by the University of Arkansas Police Department.

The redshirt freshman was arrested and booked at 6:48 AM. He has since been released after posting $1,320 bond.

The Georgia native is the 2nd Razorback to be arrested this spring. Offensive lineman Jason Peacock was charged with theft of property on March 16.

I thought Fayetteville changed their weed law to a high tolerance type thing. I guess if you're dumb enough to get busted when there's a "high tolerance" then you deserve what you get. He looks like a spoiled little dummy.

Wallfisher you hit the nail on the head my grandson was hit at L.R. by a drugie and drunk and nearly killed last year.Guess what he got a ticket for reckless driving and his welfare check will cover that if he plans to pay.I am so thankful he made a full recovery but 2 wrongs don't make a right except in Government.

Well can you say dumb little spoiled ass brat(redshirt freshman) in his BMW burning tires at 3:00 a.m. in the parking garage, mom and dad are going to be mad (the scholarship $$$$$$) i have no problem with a little pot but go some place and be a little more discreet thats one smell you can not hide .

The article does not say that he was caught with weed. It says he was in possession of a controlled substance. He could have had any number of illegal drugs. And that's the bottom line-they are ILLEGAL.

The U of A should have recruited from Ft Smith North Side! They know how to hide their drugs! I am sure his Mom and Dad are proud of him right now! Colledge money well spent, and I hope the boy didnt get money from the crooks at the State lottery!
