MAGNOLIA, Ark. (AP) — Southern Arkansas University has appointed an interim director of athletics.
Officials said Monday Steve Browning would serve in that role as well as continue to be the head baseball coach.
Browning's appointment comes four months after Southern Arkansas Director of Athletics Jay Adcox died after battling cancer.
Browning earned a bachelor's degree in health, kinesiology and recreation from Southern Arkansas in 2001. He also has master's degrees in kinesiology, education administration and supervision, and special education.
