SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Reserves John Dickson and Konner Veteto each scored 16 points as Sacramento State breezed past Central Arkansas 75-54 on Sunday.

Dickson was 7 for 9 from the field and had a game-high nine rebounds for the Hornets (2-0). Starter Joe Eberhard had 12 points for Sacramento State, which trailed only when Central Arkansas' Mark Rutledge made the first basket of the game. The Hornets shot 57 percent from the field and led by as many as 27.

Robert Crawford and Terry Tidwell, also off the bench, were the only players in double figures for the Bears (0-2) with 11 points apiece. Central Arkansas shot 38 percent from outside.
