LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Reserve Eric Lawton scored 15 points to lead six Arkansas-Little Rock players in double figures and UALR coasted to a 102-59 victory over Philander Smith on Tuesday night.

Taggart Lockhart scored 13 points and Michael Javes had 12 points for the Trojans (3-6), who ended a five-game losing streak. Courtney Jackson, Ben Dillard and Chuck Guy all scored 10 points for the winners.

UALR outscored the Panthers 21-6 in the early going and led by at least 20 points for the last 28 minutes of the game.

Ken Brown led all players with 22 points for Philander Smith, an NAIA school also located in Little Rock. Brown fouled out with 6:51 left.
