CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Ninety student-athletes from Central Arkansas have been named to the 2012 Southland Conference Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Officials said Tuesday the 90 honorees were the second most in the league and included 12 student-athletes with perfect 4.0 grade-point averages.
The SLC Commissioner's Honor roll acknowledges participants in all sports sponsored by the league and its member institutions. The honor roll recognizes student-athletes who maintained a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Student-athletes, nominated by their respective academic advisers, must have been eligible to compete in a conference sport during the academic year in which the nomination occurs.
The spring honor roll includes student-athletes in baseball, softball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's basketball and men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field.
