1st Business Applies for License as Park Hill Moves to 'Wet' Area

Kum and Go managers must now follow requirements for approval.
LITTLE ROCK, AR-- Once a dry area of Pulaski County for 50 years transitions to a wet one. Now the first business has applied for a liquor license.

Managers at Kum and Go on JFK are seeking to add alcohol sales to its stores.

Last month, voters decided being a 'dry' area would no longer be the standard.

At the time, supporters said the new changes would attract more restaurants to the developing area.

From here, the company must go through all the requirements by the Alcoholic Beverage Control board before it can be granted a full permit.
