ADHE Opens Application Process for Scholarship Money

The Arkansas Department of Higher Education opened the application process Wednesday.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Are you looking for money to pay for college and planning to stay in the Natural State for school?

Now is the time to apply for scholarship money.

The Arkansas Department of Higher Education opened the application process Wednesday.

There are more than 20 scholarships to apply for, including the popular Arkansas Academic Challenge or the Lottery Scholarship.

Shane Broadway, director of ADHE, says it's important to sew into the lives of Arkansas students, so they will return the favor.

"It's important to keep our students here, not just the best and brightest but all students to keep them here at home back in their local communities, creating jobs starting small businesses," ADHE Director Shane Broadway says.

There are no paper applications, and you have to apply online by June 1.
