Bears-Eagles flexed to Sunday night for Week 16

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Week 16's game between the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field has been moved to Sunday night.

The Eagles, at 8-5, are currently in first place in the NFC East, one game ahead of the Dallas Cowboys.

Chicago, meanwhile, is tied atop of the NFC North with the Detroit Lions at 7-6.

The game was originally slatted for 1 p.m. ET on FOX.

The league also announced on Tuesday that the game between New England and Baltimore, which was originally scheduled for Sunday night, will be moved to 4:25 p.m. and aired on CBS.

The NFL uses "flexible scheduling" on Sundays in Weeks 11-17. It tries to ensure quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots in those weeks and gives teams a chance to play their way onto prime time and into the late-afternoon time slot on CBS or FOX.
