SALINE COUNTY, AR - Accidents were being reported on slick roads late Wednesday morning.

Benton Police tweeted this message: We have officers working accidents, some w/injuries, on every overpass in the city. Please avoid I-30 overpasses at this time.

One of the trouble spots was at the Haskell Exit off I-30.

Benton Police tweeted shortly after 10 a.m. that sleet and rain was falling and making bridges and overpasses slick.

Slick roads were also reported in Yell County late Wednesday morning.

The Yell County Sheriff's Office posted the following to its Facebook page:
We've had approximately 20 accidents due to icy roads this morning so far. All mountain highways, SH 7 and SH 27 have especially been problems. Please do not travel unless you have to, we expect that conditions on the roadways will improve this afternoon as the highway crews have time to work.

An accident was also reported along I-40 near Ozark (see photos) but no other details were known.
