First services are at 11 a.m. in Little Rock and Cabot.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - It's Veterans Day and ceremonies to honor the men and women who have served our country in the armed forces are planned all across the state and the country.

Here's a list of some of the events taking place in central Arkansas:

11 a.m. - River Market east pavilion
 1 p.m. - American Legion Post 1 at 315 E. Capitol Ave.
 1 p.m. - Veteran's Day Concert, Meadowcliff Elementary School, 25 Sheraton Drive

2 p.m. - Laman Library, 2801 Orange St.
5 p.m. - 7 p.m. - Vets fundraiser at Cross Fit, 5301 McClanahan Drive, Suite A1

2 p.m. - Academics Plus Charter School
4 p.m. - Lake Willastein Veterans Memorial

7 p.m. - Jacksonville Museum of Military History (Jacksonville High School Choir performs a "Salute Through Song"), 100 Veterans Circle

11 a.m. - American Legion Armory, 300 Commerce Drive
