23 Arrested in Cocaine Bust Monday, 6 Released

48 hours after a major drug bust, several who were arrested are back on the streets.
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - State and federal officials made an announcement of a major drug bust on Monday.  23 people were arrested as a result of Operation Chopping Cherry Tree.  The aim of this operation was a large cocaine delivery business running from McAllen, Texas to Saline and Pulaski Counties in Arkansas.

Wednesday we learned six of the 23 arrested had been released from jail. 

The Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Attorney's Office telling us 15 of the 23 were arrested Monday during a raid, the other eight were arrested earlier in the year. 

All six that were released must follow conditions and guidelines, among those is not breaking any laws.
