American Taekwondo Association Celebrates 45th Anniversary

More than 20,000 people from 15 different countries will be competing in Little Rock, including competitors from South Africa, Brazil, and Australia.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - The American Taekwondo Association is celebrating its 45th anniversary.

This is just a preview of what you can expect this weekend at the Statehouse Convention Center.

More than 20,000 people from 15 different countries will be competing including competitors from South Africa, Brazil, and Australia.

Martial artists from ages 3 to 80 will be demonstrating their skills in weapons, sparring, and ata-xtreme open-hand forms.

But this year there is also the introduction of the new shield,with means "always take action."

Opening ceremonies take place this Saturday.

Admission to the event is only $10 for all three days.

And children under five get in free!
