LITTLE ROCK, AR - An Arkansas lottery player has won four times in the same game.
The Decades of Dollars drawing for Monday night won them a total of $20,012.
Lottery officials explain how it happened this way: Two tickets purchased in Ashdown, at the EZ Mart on S. Constitution Ave. matched five of the six numbers drawn. The match was worth $10,000 for each ticket. But, this player wasn’t finished winning in the game yet. They had bought five tickets for the drawing. On the first ticket they matched three of the six numbers drawn, winning a $10 prize. On a second ticket they matched two of the six numbers drawn, winning $2 on that ticket.
Even without a top prize winner in the Monday Decades of Dollars drawing 1,328 Arkansas players in the game won prizes ranging from $2 to $10,000.
If your checking your tickets now, the Decades of Dollars numbers drawn in Monday night’s drawing were: 01 - 02 - 18 - 27 - 34 - 40.
The lucky winner matched 18, 27 & 40 on the $10 winning ticket, and 01 & 18 on the $2 winning ticket. They also matched 01, 18, 27, 34 & 40 on their third winning ticket for $10,000, and on their fourth winning ticket for the second $10,000 they matched 02, 18, 27, 34 & 40.
There were two additional winners in the game who also won $10,000, one each in Georgia and Kentucky. The odds of winning a 10-thousand dollar prize in the game are 1 in 43,649.
In other lottery news, tonight's Natural State Jackpot drawing will be for $85,000. In the Powerball drawing tonight, the jackpot is $152 million. In Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing there was no grand prize winner, rolling the jackpot to $26 million for Friday night's drawing.
