LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Arkansas National Guard spent their weekend cleaning out Rick's Armory in Little Rock.

The well-known domed building was the home to the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team since 1967.

The relocation has been in the making for a long time, but roof damage from a storm in June, moved up the moving date.

Sergeant First Class Kathryn Braden says the familiar building will be missed.

"I came across some old signs that we had made up back when we were a separate brigade, and looking at the old dispensary placards and things of that nature that we don't use anymore...it kind of hit home for me," Braden said.

The Guardsmen will report for drill at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock beginning next month.
