Original story (March 18):
PULASKI COUNTY, AR - Sheriff's deputies are looking for the man who robbed a Valero gas station/store in Morgan early today.

Deputies with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) were called to the scene around 3:45 a.m. at 18823 MacArthur Drive.

The two clerks on duty told the PCSO that the suspect walked around in the store until one of them stepped outside for a smoke break before going behind the counter. The suspect opened his jacket to show he had a handgun in a holster, the clerk told deputies.

The suspect then opened the cash drawers of two registers and took everything before walking out the front door.

When the clerk stepped outside to tell the other clerk they had been robbed, two customers pumping gas heard him and tried unsuccessfully to stop the suspect.

The robber is described as a black man with long thick braids and a beard who was wearing a dark leather jacket with a purple scarf.
