Staying hot with a few showers around for the first week of September.  A few of showers and storms will drift South into Northern Arkansas by early Tuesday morning with a few isolated showers redeveloping over Central Arkansas later in the afternoon. Rain chances diminish a bit for the middle of the week although an isolated shower or two is still possible with daytime heating. Temperatures will remain hot with highs in the low to mid 90s. A weak front approaches by the weekend with a higher threat of of some showers or storms followed by a slight cool down, but no significant cold fronts are expected over the next 7 to 10 days into Arkansas. 

 
Tuesday: Partly sunny and hot with a chance for thunderstorms, especially North. Highs in the lower 90s.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny and hot. Isolated afternoon t-storm. Highs in the mid 90s.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and hot. Isolated afternoon t-storm. Highs in the mid 90s. 
Friday: Mostly sunny and hot. Chance an isolated thunderstorm for the afternoon. Highs in the middle 90s. 
Saturday: Partly cloudy with scattered showers and storms. Highs in the lower 90s.
Sunday: Partly sunny and a bit less humid. Highs in the upper 80s.
Monday: Partly sunny with highs near 90.
