Blazers' Aldridge out one week with groin strain

<p>The Portland Trail Blazers announced Tuesday that forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be sidelined for one week with a strained left groin.</p>

Portland, OR (SportsNetwork.com) - The Portland Trail Blazers announced Tuesday that forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be sidelined for one week with a strained left groin.

Aldridge is averaging 23.9 points and 11.4 rebounds in 53 games this season. He will be reevaluated after a week off.

In addition, Portland announced that center Meyers Leonard suffered a left ankle sprain in practice Tuesday and will miss 2-to-3 weeks.

Leonard is averaging 2.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in 21 games this season.
