Crime Alert: Car Theft Puts Local Charity in a Difficult Situation

Watershed uses the vehicles to not only serve meals to more than 100 needy families during the holidays but also to pick up and deliver goods and donations.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Five vehicles are stolen from the headquarters of a local charity and now the group is asking for your help.

They use those vehicles to not only serve meals to more than 100 needy families during the holidays but also to pick up and deliver goods and donations.

But now those cars are gone putting the charity and its daily operations in a difficult situation. And despite being cash strapped Reverend Hezekiah Stuart is now offering a $500 reward to anyone who can help lead to an arrest of the person or people responsible.

The crimes all taking place in just the past week at the building on Springer Boulevard.

Reverend Stuart says three cars were stolen Sunday night and two more Wednesday night. This isn't the first time the Watershed has been a victim of theft. Now they're asking for the public's help to get the vehicles back or find out who stole them.

"I'm sort of irate about this I mean I really am because all we do is help people all we do is work hard to help the poor and the needy and those who are having a hard time," says Reverand Hezekiah Stewart.

If you have any information about this crime be sure to call Little Rock Police.
