Near record cold for the end of the week with some light snow possible for parts of the State.
Near record cold for the end of the week with some light snow possible for parts of the State. Low temperatures tonight dropping into the teens in many spots with wind chill values in the single numbers and teens by Friday morning. Partly cloudy skies across the area tonight with some snow showers over the Rockies with a weak upper air disturbance that brings some light snow to parts of the State by Friday evening. Very cold temperatures in place with 20s and 30s across the region. Temperatures across the State range from the mid 20s North to 30s Central and South. Skies becoming mainly clear tonight, but very cold with lows in the 10s. early sunshine Friday, then increasing clouds. A few snow showers approach Western Arkansas by early evening. These snow showers will diminish as they head toward Central Arkansas, but some flurries are possible with little in the way of accumulation. Up to an inch is possible West and Northwest Arkansas. Mainly cloudy and staying cool Saturday. A disturbance brings showers to the area by Sunday.

Friday: Early sun, then becoming cloudy with flurries possible late. Cold with highs near 30.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy with highs in the low 40s.
Sunday: Cloudy with showers likely. Highs in the low to mid 40s.
Monday: Showers likely. Highs in the mid 40s
Tuesday: Rain and thunder possible. Highs in the mid 60s.
Wednesday: Showers likely. Highs in the 50s. 
Thursday: Mostly cloudy and colder with highs near 40.
