FDA Proposing New Regulations For E-Cigs

The Federal Government is proposing new regulations on the popular e-cig industry. Donna Terrell tells us more in today's Family Health segment.
The Federal Government wants to ban sales of electronic cigarettes to minors.

It also wants to require approval for new products and warning labels under regulations being proposed by the FDA.

The proposal being issued won't immediately mean changes for the popular devices but it will eventually tame the fast-growing e-cigarette industry.

The public, members of the industry, and others will have 75 days to comment on the proposal.

The FDA will evaluate those comments before issuing a final rule.
