Hope Is Strong In Mayflower

Folks begin cleaning up the mess in Mayflower.
MAYFLOWER, AR -- Those in the tornado's path are stronger than any storm as they stand up to the devastation through something even more powerful...perseverance.

Today people talked about stories of survival.

Victoria Denney said family members got to safety just moments before the storm hit.

One man told us, "This tree landed not five feet from us."

As victims sort through the debris they consider the next challenge which is cleaning up.

Denney said, "Where do we start."

Donnie Hill said the work happens one piece at a time.

He volunteered to help with cleaning up although his home wasn't damaged.
