WYNNE, AR -- A man is in custody in connection with the early morning robbery in Wynne.

Police report 25-year-old Robert Lee Jones turned himself in to the Wynne Police Department around noon Saturday and confessed to the robbery of the Citgo station in Wynne.

Jones will have a preliminary hearing Monday morning at 9:00 am in Cross County District Court

WYNNE, AR -- Police are asking for the public's help following a robbery early Saturday morning.

A detective with the Wynne Police Department want to talk to at least three people, including the man who grabbed money from a cash register at the Citgo in Wynne around 12:20 a.m.

Surveillance video from the scene has been released to assist in solving the case.

A black sport utility vehicle can be seen pulling up to the station.

Two men gout out of the passenger side, and one went into the store and grabbed money from the register while making a small purchase.
