A new report by the Arkansas Department of Health found a litany of health problems in Arkansas. Life expectancy for the average Arkansan is 76-years-old, which is two years younger than the national average.

Arkansas also has a higher infant mortality rate, 7%.

The report also found  that many Arkansans lack health literacy, which is defined as how well someone can get and use information to make choices about their health.

In other health news, for older drivers, just one drink can impact your ability to drive.

A new study out of the University of Florida compared the driving skills of 36 people in their 20's and 30's to those of drivers over age 55.

Participants completed a driving simulation sober and after drinking some alcohol at amounts below the legal limit.

They found the younger drivers were not affected by the alcohol, but older drivers made more mistakes after drinking.
