LITTLE ROCK, AR - A North Little Rock man is being held on $1M bond after allegedly running from Little Rock Police Monday night.
Police say Ocoriye Wallace, 19, had been wanted on warrants that included terroristic acts, robbery and failure to appear.
As police followed him down Interstate 630 to take him into custody on the warrants, officers say he refused to pull over and instead kept driving from I-630 to Woodrow St. on to Lamar St. and didn't stop until hitting a curb on S. Maple St. and crashing his car in the front yard of a home.
Wallace then reportedly ran from the scene, jumped a fence and darted across I-630, causing two cars to collide that tried to avoid hitting him.
Wallace continued running with an officer on his heels until he laid down in the intersection at Oak St. and Maryland Avenue. That's where he was placed under arrest without resistance.
A search of Wallace's car turned up an ammunition magazine, shotgun shells and bullets, according to the incident report.
In addition to the warrants, Wallace is also charged with felony fleeing and battery.
The police chase and arrest of Wallace happened between 6:30 and 7 p.m.
