NWS: Straight Line Winds Caused Damage In Southeast Arkansas

Storm hit on Friday damaging power poles.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The National Weather Service has determined it was straight line winds and not a tornado that caused damage Friday night in Southeast Arkansas.

The swath of straight line wind damage began near highway 165 between Portland and Parkdale, Arkansas.

Eight wooden power poles were snapped.
