Oak Street Exit in Conway Reopened after Accident

Interstate 40 Exit 127 East has been reopened after emergency crews finished cleaning up following a tanker truck accident.
CONWAY, AR --Interstate 40 Exit 127 East has been reopened after emergency crews finished cleaning up following a tanker truck accident.

A diesel fuel truck overturned around 9:00 a.m.

The driver of the truck was injured, and a small amount of fuel leaked onto the road, according to Conway police.

The tanker was the only vehicle involved.

The driver was taken to a Little Rock hospital for his injuries. 

The Office of Emergency Management and fire department removed the truck and cleaned up the area.

Another tanker truck retrieved the remaining fuel from inside the wrecked tanker.There is no word yet on what caused the accident.
