Police Make 6 Arrests in Benton County Drug Bust

Detectives recovered over 300 grams of meth reportedly worth a street value of $30,000.
BENTON COUNTY, AR (KNWA) - A Benton County drug bust netted cash, drugs and six arrests Monday.

Detectives with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Division searched two houses as part of a drug investigation. The search warrants were done at 615 Smith Ridge Turn Off in Rogers, Arkansas and 15594 Twelve Corners Rd. in Garfield, Arkansas.

Thomas Thomas, 45, Jerry Carnes, 60, Macaila Thomas, 20, Kenneth Martin, 40, David Jones, 43, and Marla Darling, 42, were placed under arrest for multiple drug violations.

Detectives also recovered over 300 grams of methamphetamine - reportedly worth a street value of $30,000, pot, pills, two handguns, rifles, shotguns and $4942.00 cash.

Detectives said the six arrested are at the Benton County Jail awaiting bond hearings and they expect to make more arrests.
