Pulaski County Offers ACT Prep Classes, Applications Accepted

Leaders say the classes are free.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Pulaski County will soon offer ACT prep classes and applications are now being accepted.

Leaders say the weekly courses are free and students even qualify to take the test for free, if they meet the qualifications.

Planners say they want to help students do well on the test to get into college.

"We see at least 70 percent of the students have a score increase. At our last evaluation, we were able to measure that and we continually try to make the course better all the time," said planner Susej Thompson of the county's youth services department.
