Rockies' Tulowitzki leads MLB All-Star voting

<p>Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has taken the overall lead in balloting for the MLB All-Star Game.</p>

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has taken the overall lead in balloting for the MLB All-Star Game.

Tulowitzki, who leads the majors with a .350 batting average and .450 on-base percentage, had 1,419,718 votes in the latest results released by MLB.

Angels outfielder Mike Trout led the American League with 1,361,649 votes.

MLB released results for the National League on Tuesday. Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, Phillies second baseman Chase Utley, Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado and Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina each led their positions.

Yasiel Puig of the Dodgers, Charlie Blackmon of the Rockies and Giancarlo Stanton of the Marlins are the top three vote-getters in the outfield.

The All-Star Game is scheduled for July 15 at Target Field in Minneapolis.

Voting ends July 3.
