State Rep. Collins Leaves Lt. Gov. Race, Seeks Re-election

Former candidate gives support to U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - The run for the Arkansas Lieutenant Governor's seat has seen one candidate enter and another leave the race today.

After U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin tossed his hat into the ring for the state's No. 2 post, State Rep. Charlie Collins bowed out, throwing his support behind the soon-to-be former congressman.

Collins, of Fayetteville, will now seek re-election for his District 89 seat in the Arkansas House.
