Storms Damage Downtown LR Business, Knock out Power to 40K

LITTLE ROCK, AR - More than 40-thousand are without power as storms continue to march across Arkansas. Half of those are in Pulaski County. View all Entergy outages here. View First Electric outages here.

The severe thunderstorms moved into the central part of the state around noon.

Shortly after 1 p.m., high winds and heavy rain moved into downtown Little Rock.

Damage from the storm is reported at the Today's Office building at 7th & Gaines. Trees are also reported down near the State Capitol.
