Job Seekers Take Advantage Of Job Training Workshops At Main Library

The Central Arkansas Library System is offering a series of workshops to help unemployed Arkansans get back in the workforce.
LITTLE ROCK, AR- Calling on all job seekers. The Central Arkansas Library System is hosting a series of workshops for unemployed Arkansans looking for work.

The workshops will focus on networking, resume writing and presentation, and interview skills to name a few. After offering similar workshops last year, the library found it's a huge need in the community.

"The employment rate is significant and anyone who doesn't have a job needs all the help they can get to find one," says Susan Gele, Central Arkansas Library System spokeswoman.

The workshops will take place every Saturday in March. You can still register, but keep in mind, slots are filling up and there will be waiting lists.

There are a couple ways you can register:

Register in person or email the main library reference department.
Register online at www.cals.org
You can also call the main library at 501-918-3000
