Tennis Shoppe Owner: "Lucky To Be Alive"

Employees are cleaning up the damage after a car crashes into their Little Rock shop.
LITTLE ROCK, AR- Business as usual at the Tennis Shoppe on Cantrell in Little Rock Thursday, after a car barrels through the front of the store sending one woman to the hospital.

Owner Harry Huchingson says they are all lucky to be alive. One employee underwent surgery Thursday morning for a broken knee in the crash.

Employees spent most of the day cleaning up the damage and the broken glass found scattered around the shop. The front counter was knocked three feet from its original position. Huchingson says it's going to cost between $20,000 and $30,000 dollars to repair the damages.

"When the car got inside the store, the engine was still racing and that's what I can understand and smoke was coming out from under the hood of the car, of course I was concerned about fire," says Harry Huchingson, Tennis Shoppe Owner.

Police cited the driver, Carolyn Bunting, for careless driving, driving on a suspended license and having no insurance. Bunting told police she was attempting to park, when she hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes.
