LITTLE ROCK, AR- A 140-mile run for the Arkansas Run For The Fallen comes to an end this weekend, with a closing ceremony at the Arkansas State Capitol.

Runners made the trek across the Natural State to honor every Arkansas service member killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

The team of runners honored each fallen service member, mile by mile.

At every mile marker, the team stopped to present an American Flag and biographical card in honor of each fallen service member.

The purpose is also to provide support, hope and healing to families grieving the death of a loved one in military service regardless of relationship or circumstance of death.
