The Van Helps The Homeless Out Of The Cold Weather

The Van is out looking for folks, stuck in the freezing temps, who don't have a warm place to go.
LITTLE ROCK, AR- With the drop in cold temperatures, one man is on a mission to save the homeless from the cold.

Aaron Reddin with The Van scoured and combed the streets of Little Rock Thursday night to find homeless folks who need a warm place to stay.

Reddin says when it's this cold, the Van will pick up anywhere between five to fifty people who need to go to a warming center.

"It's easy to say 'just go to a shelter' but it's not always that easy for it to happen. Sometimes they're full, or folks don't know where to go," said Aaron Reddin, The Van.

Reddin says he's taking people to the Dream Center to stay the night. The van is always looking for donations, such as blankets, socks and gloves.
