Job Title: Insurance Specialist

SUMMARY: Assists lending staff with insurance claims and policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : (Other duties may be assigned.)
1. Liaison between third party service provider and lending staff to assist in the resolution of hazard/wind insurance exceptions and notice of requirement cycles. This duty is performed daily, about 75% of the time.

2. Process force place insurance premiums/refunds to loan accounts. This duty is performed monthly, about 10% of the time.

3. Coordinate & assist lending staff for all insurance claims between bank and third party service provider. This duty is performed irregularly, about 5% of the time.

4. Process premium billing cycles and remit payment to third party service provider. This duty is performed monthly, about 10% of the time.

5. Submit insurance tapes to third party service provider. This duty is performed weekly, about 2% of the time.

6. Monitor and maintain internally tracked insurance coverages. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.

7. Process insurance mail & ready for submission to third party servicer or imaging. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.

8. Respond to all telephone or e-mail inquiries promptly and professionally. This duty is performed daily, about 15% of the time.

9. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed annually, about 2% of the time.

Basic Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
