Taekwondo Convention Brings Revenue To Downtown Little Rock

The Taekwondo Convention has attracted nearly 20,000 people to downtown Little Rock and businesses are cashing in.

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The American Taekwondo Association Convention has attracted martial artists from across the globe this weekend.

Nearly 20,000 people are at the 24th Annual World Expo which kicked off earlier this week at the State House Convention Center.

Competitors from ages 3 to 80 are demonstrating their skills.

Visitor Kimberly Mobley says it's a great way to take in all that Little Rock has to offer.

"It's just a wonderful town and we understand that when you have an event like this, everybody benefits, the locals," Mobley said.

Businesses in downtown Little Rock says they are cashing in this weekend.

Admission to the event is $10 for the entire convention.
