Tornado Recovery: Class Ring Costs Not a Problem for Mayflower Students

Josten's, the company that makes class rings, wanted to do something to help soften the blow after the April 27 tornados.
MAYFLOWER, AR - "Anytime someone says where'd you get your class ring, you say? Josten's, I like it."

Students at Mayflower High School will say that proudly, especially after the surprise they got today. Josten's, the company that makes class rings announced it will be giving each student a class ring at absolutely no charge. Yes, free.

It's just something the company wanted to do to help soften the blow after the April 27 tornados.

"It feels pretty awesome. Most of all of us have been working non stop trying to help out people with this tornado and the disaster that happened. It's just pretty awesome everybody's getting this," says Mayflower student Austin Holman.

The free rings are being made available to students who'll graduate in 2016 in both Mayflower and Vilonia. Josten's is also matching donations made to each school district, up to $5,000.
