Update: Jacksonville Teen Arrested in NLR Murder

Update (July 21):
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police have arrested a Jacksonville teen for a weekend murder.

The North Little Rock Police Department says Robert Harris, 17, is charged with Capital Murder and Aggravated Robbery in the Sunday morning shooting death of Michael Cook, 29.

Cook was found lying in the street at Campbell Rd. and Whippoorwill Lane around 1 a.m. and died shortly after being taken to the hospital.

Original story (July 20):
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Police identify the man shot and killed early this morning.

Officers found Michael Cook, 29, lying in the road near the intersection of Campbell Rd. and Whippoorwill Lane.

Police received a call about the shooting around 1 Sunday morning.

An ambulance took the victim to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

No arrests have been made in this case, but officers are searching for the shooter.
