Update: NLR Football Team Bus Involved in I-40 Crash

Accident at 3:39 on I-40 east of JFK east bound involving multiple vehicles and a school bus.
(Update, 5:00):
LITTLE ROCK, AR - We have just learned that the North Little Rock football team was on the school bus involved in the multiple car accident. NLR Football Coach Brad Bolding tells us that everyone is OK.

The North Little Rock School District released the following statement in regards to the accident: 

"We would like to inform all N.L.R.S.D. patrons, parents, students and staff that a N.L.R. Transportation bus was involved in a traffic accident on I-40 east under the J.F.K. overpass from I-30 West. The driver of the bus encountered a sudden traffic jam due to an accident. The driver of the bus attempted to avoid another accident by leaving the roadway. The N.L.R.H.S. football team was on the bus but there were no injuries reported to any player. As a safety precaution, the players were transported back to their training facility at the old Belwood Elementary School for further examination by doctors."

Emergency officials are responding to an accident involving multiple vehicles and a school bus that happened at 3:39 p.m. Thursday near I-40 East of JFK east bound.

As of now, no injuries have been reported.
